Founded by Joshua Adkins in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Better Step started with a simple question every parent has asked: “Why do so many toys feel like they’re designed to be thrown away?”
Joshua, a father and inventor, set out to fix that. From his home workshop, he designed the first Axis Smart Blocks — premium soft magnetic building blocks with rounded edges, unbreakable magnets, and no tiny parts. These durable kids toys are designed to survive real kids and real life.
